Launched in 2024 by ODTÜ TEKNOKENT , DUALSPARK is Turkey’s first dual-use (civil and defense) acceleration program, offering startups the opportunity to develop innovative solutions that serve both civilian and defense industry needs.

Through the DUALSPARK – Dual-Use Acceleration Program, designed as a precursor to the NATO DIANA , Program, ODTÜ TEKNOKENT aims to support civilian startups in expanding into the defense sector, while helping defense-focused ventures enter civilian markets. With contributions from more than 20 technical and business mentors, DUALSPARK stands out as the first acceleration program in Turkey dedicated to dual-use innovation.

Participants benefit from tailored training and mentorship in areas such as effective leadership, pre- and post-investment management, defense industry procurement processes, marketing strategies, and investor pitching.

Among the program’s ultimate goals are to increase the number of qualified applications from Turkey to NATO DIANA and to help dual-use startups grow sustainably within a collaborative network.

As MirLeon AI, we have joined DUALSPARK 2025 with our AI-powered predictive maintenance and fault management solutions designed for both civil and defense sectors.

As part of the program, the MirLeon AI team will:

• Receive one-on-one acceleration and mentorship from industry experts,
• Take part in preparatory activities for integration into the NATO DIANA ecosystem,
• Develop dual-use technologies that bridge the civilian and defense industries.

Additionally, we will participate in the DUALSPARK Demo Day, which will take place during the Take-Off Fair in Istanbul on December 10–11, 2025, where MirLeon AI will showcase its solutions and engage with visitors at the ODTÜ TEKNOKENT booth.
