On Tuesday, December 9, the “Artificial Intelligence in Medicine” Symposium, hosted by OSTİM Technical University, brought together key stakeholders with the aim of strengthening university–industry collaboration. The event gathered representatives from academia, the healthcare sector, and industry to discuss current and potential applications of artificial intelligence in medical fields.
The opening speeches were delivered by Prof. Dr. Ünsal Sığrı, Vice Rector of OSTİM Technical University, and Fatin Dağçınar, Chairman of the Board of the OSTİM Medical Industry Clustering Association. In their remarks, they emphasized the critical role of university–industry cooperation in the development of innovative solutions in healthcare technologies.
Representing MirLeon AI at the symposium, Dr. Melike Palsü Kurt shared the company’s healthcare-focused artificial intelligence projects with the participants. Her presentation highlighted the role of AI in medical imaging, clinical decision support systems, and improving the efficiency of clinical workflows, while also presenting MirLeon AI’s solution approach and practical use cases in the healthcare domain.
