Organized by the Directorate of Communications of the Republic of Türkiye under the theme "The Century of Türkiye: The Century of Communication" the 2nd Communication Council brought together representatives from public institutions, universities, the media, civil society organizations, and the private sector to discuss the future of the communication ecosystem. The Council addressed critical topics ranging from strategic communication and public diplomacy to combating disinformation, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence.

MirLeon AI Co-Founders Dr. Melike Palsü Kurt and Göktuğ Serdar attended the 2nd Communication Council, closely following discussions on AI-driven transformation in communication. As part of the preparatory process leading up to the Council, Dr. Melike Palsü Kurt contributed to the Digital Platforms, Social Media, and Artificial Intelligence Working Group during the Communication Council Preparatory Workshop held last year. Over the course of approximately eighteen months, hundreds of experts from diverse disciplines collaborated to develop policy recommendations addressing the evolving needs of the communication landscape and to shape the intellectual foundation of the Council.

In his opening address, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the significant opportunities that artificial intelligence presents across communication, education, healthcare, commerce, and public services. He also underscored the strategic importance of safeguarding truth, combating disinformation, ensuring digital sovereignty, and strengthening trustworthy communication infrastructures in the era of digital transformation. Furthermore, he highlighted that artificial intelligence and digital platforms are fundamentally reshaping the communication ecosystem, stressing that this transformation must be guided by a human-centric, ethical, and trustworthy approach.

At MirLeon AI, we believe that artificial intelligence is not merely a technological innovation but also a key enabler of trustworthy information production, decision support systems, and strategic communication capabilities. Guided by this vision, we remain committed to developing AI solutions that contribute to Türkiye's national AI vision, strengthening collaboration among the public sector, academia, and industry, and supporting the country's digital transformation journey.
