Mirleon AI's founding partners Dr. Melike Palsü Kurt and Göktuğ Serdar attended the Türkiye Artificial Intelligence Summit, where Türkiye's 2026–2030 AI Vision and Action Plan was unveiled to the public. Held in Istanbul and attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, along with numerous senior officials, technology leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives—including T3 Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar and Turkcell CEO Dr. Ali Taha Koç—the summit marked a significant milestone in Türkiye's digital transformation journey.
Addressing the summit, President Erdoğan set out a comprehensive national roadmap aimed at positioning Türkiye among the world's leading countries in artificial intelligence, reaffirming his commitment to making the "Türkiye Century" the century of digital production. Noting that the Action Plan is built on four core pillars, Erdoğan summarized them under the headings Discover, Benefit, Produce, and Govern. Among the concrete targets shared under the Plan were providing basic AI literacy training to 5 million citizens within two years, training 10,000 advanced specialists and 100,000 application professionals, opening at least 2,000 public datasets to researchers and entrepreneurs, increasing data center capacity to at least 1 GW by 2030, and mobilizing at least USD 10 billion in predominantly private-sector investment.
The Plan's emphasis on making the public sector the first customer for domestic AI solutions, allocating at least 2 percent of public investment programs to AI projects, and featuring support mechanisms that carry ventures from idea to product holds direct opportunities for startups that build technology from the ground up, like Mirleon AI. Its goal of expanding the use of AI across priority sectors—particularly healthcare, agriculture, security, and public services—aligns directly with the work of Mirleon AI, which develops decision support solutions for the healthcare field. Founding partners Dr. Melike Palsü Kurt and Göktuğ Serdar stated that the impressions gained at the summit and the opportunities opened up by the Plan offer a roadmap that will strengthen the company's vision of locally developed, human-centered artificial intelligence.
As Mirleon AI, we believe the opportunities this roadmap opens up hold concrete prospects for domestic technology-producing startups, and we support Türkiye's goal of standing on the producing side of artificial intelligence.
